Patrick McGoohan

PATRICK MCGOOHAN d2009. American-born actor best known for his notable roles in two classic 1960s TV series ; Danger Man and The Prisoner (which he co-created). He wrote and directed several episodes of The Prisoner himself, occasionally using the pseudonyms Joseph Serf and Paddy Fitz. Later in his career he moved to America and subsequently appeared as the killer in four episodes of Columbo, twice winning an Emmy. He died aged 80 in 2009
