An original handwritten 1973 postcard by Dianne Lee with interesting content ;
"Many many thanks for your lovely letter of congratulations. Our record will be released 4th May single called "Welcome Home" on Philips Label & LP released two weeks later called "We can make it". Hope you will enjoy the records. The song you referred to called Crying Time is on the LP. Thanking you Fondest Love x Peters & Lee xxx
| Certification: | The postcard is addressed on the reverse by hand to Mrs Johnson of Derby with royal mail date stamp 27th April 1973. The letter content is great because Welcome Home went to No1 in the UK charts a few weeks later in July 1973 and the LP mentioned also reached No1. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA. |
