About Rupert Davies
RUPERT DAVIES d1976. British actor best known for playing the title role in BBC TVs 1960s adaptation of Maigret based on the novels written by Georges Simione. He was The Pipe Smoker of the year in 1964, but sadly died of cancer aged 60 in 1976.
