Description
An original two page handwritten letter in ballpoint (dated July 31st 1986) with amusing & sarcastic content to a fan who has clearly overstepped the mark in harassing him.
Part of the text includes ; "I'm sorry that you are depressed. I'm also sorry that your father's attempt to blackmail me by selling his ridiculous story to the press back fired and made fools of you both. I'm sorry you've lost your friends, I'm sorry you haven't got a job, I'm sorry that you and your father seem to have nothing better to do than write letters to pop singers, I'm sorry the world isn't a better place, and I'm sorry for the marmalade on this letter"
It concludes with ; I'm leaving the country next week and I won't be back until Christmas, so if you have to write more of these letters, send them via Father Christmas, he lives at the North Pole. Good luck and best wishes Sting"
An amazing and extremely rare & collectable letter with incredible content
