A collection of four original (unsigned) Film Call-Sheets (all dated Thursday August 19th 1943)
1) THE GANGS ALL HERE ; Starring Alice Faye ; Director B. Berkeley
2) GUADALCANAL DIARY ; Starring Anthony Quinn and Roy Roberts ; Director Lewis Seiler.
3) BUFFALO BILL ; Starring Maureen Ohara and Linda Darnell ; Director Wm Wellman.
4) THE LODGER ; Starring Merle Oberon and George Sanders ; Director John Brahm.
All in good condition and suitable for display.
| Certification: | CERTIFICATION ; One of a small collection of original call sheets, all obtained in person by Ronald Rossiter on a studio-tour visit to The Twentieth Century-Fox Film Studios in 1943. Mr Rossiter was a wartime British RAF serviceman and during a visit to Los Angeles, he enjoyed the hospitality of "the forces mascot" Anne Gaber. She showed him around the studios introducing him to many cast members and crew during the making of several films. These included ; Lifeboat / Tampico / Guadalcanal Diary / Buffalo Bill and Pin-Up Girl. Includes a recent typed letter from his son further detailing the fuller history and provenance.
