A wonderful original Where Eagles Dare Royal Gala Film Premiere programme (Empire Leicester Square) on Wednesday 22nd January 1969, clearly signed in ballpoints on the outside of the rear cover by ; Mary Ure d1975 (Mary Ellison) / Neil McCarthy d1985 (Sgt Jock MacPherson) / Ferdy Mayne d1998 (Rosemeyer) / Patrick Wymark d1970 (Colonel Turner) and Anton Diffring d1989 (Colonel Kramer) PLUS David Hemmings d2003 and the bonus of Robert Shaw d1978 (who was married to Mary Ure at this time)

The autographs of Mary Ure & Robert Shaw (together) and Patrick Wymark are especially rare to find.
MARY URE was found dead by her husband (Robert Shaw) in their London home aged just 42 on April 3rd 1975 after taking an overdose.
ROBERT SHAW died after a heart-attack aged just 51 on August 28th 1978. He is best known for his parts in classic films including ; From Russia With Love (1963) / A Man For All Seasons (1966) / The Sting (1973) / The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3 (1974) and memorably as the shark hunter Quint in "Jaws" (1975). Married three times, he battled with alcoholism for much of his life.
PATRICK WYMARK died of a heart-attack in Australia aged just 44 on 20th October 1970.
