WILSON PICKETT d2006. Influential American R&B soul singer known for his unique vocal style on classic hits "The Midnight Hour" and "Mustang Sally" during the mid 1960s. He had a troubled private life and was obsessed with guns. He was jailed in 1993 after a car accident and suffered with poor health later in his life. He died of a heart attack aged 64 on January 19th 2006.

A good original vintage 1965 autograph book page, clearly signed in ballpoint "Love always from" Wilson Pickett

Certification:

From the 1960s autograph book of Maggie P containing many music notables of the period. As a young teenager she went to see several recordings of the classic TV show "Ready Steady Go" at Studio 5 Wembley during Autumn 1965. Some autographs are dedicated to her (Tich & Maggie). Wilson Pickett appeared on the programme on November 12th 1965, so this is the likely actual signing date for this autograph. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA
