Description
A wonderful single sided letter on her own headed paper, clearly signed Amy in ink and dated 14th August 1930. The letter sends thanks to a friend and her old classmates for a bouquet received. She also goes onto say how she has not had a minute to call her own since returning to England .......
A piece of aviation history, as this letter is dated and reflects her new lifestyle just three months after becoming the first woman to fly solo from Great Britain to Australia in May 1930.
