Prince Bira

PRINCE BIRA d1985. Thai F1 and GP driver active 1950-54 with the Maserati / Gordini and Connaught teams. He entered 19 Championship races (scoring 8 career points) establishing national Siam racing colours and the White Mouse Racing Team. He enjoyed success with his ERA and was the first privateer to order the now iconic Maserati 250F finishing 4th in 1954 French GP. He died in London aged 71 on December 23rd 1985
