La Grande Vadrouille (Don't Look Now)

DON'T LOOK NOW WE'RE BEING SHOT AT (LA GRANDE VADROUILLE). 1966 French comedy film directed by Gerard Oury. It told the story of two ordinary Frenchmen, helping the crew of an RAF bomber, shot down over Paris make their way through German-occupied France in order to escape arrest. For over forty years (until the release of Bienvenue Chez Les Ch'Tis in 2008), it was the most successful French film in France, topping the box office with over 17,200,000 cinema admissions. It remains the third most successful film ever in France (of any nationality) behind Titanic (1997) and Bienvenue (2008)
