Description
BETTY GRABLE d1973 autograph. American actress and the highest paid female in Hollywood earning over $300,000 dollars per year during the late1940s ; her film roles including Moon Over Miami / Springtime In The Rockies / Cory Island / Sweet Rosie Ogrady / Pin Up Girl and Mother Wore Tights. She is however best known for being the pin-up girl of the WW2 era ; her iconic bathing suit photograph described by LIFE magazine as "one of 100 photographs that changed the world". She was also particularly noted for having the most beautiful legs in Hollywood , famously insured by the studio with Lloyds of London for $1 million dollars. She died of lung cancer aged just 56.
