BILLY FURY & FRIENDS from the Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent 1960 UK Tour. These two close friends created a sensation touring the UK together from Mid-January 1960 on the notorious, extensive and punishing Larry Parnes Winter Tour. Support acts included up & coming young UK artists including ; Billy Fury / Joe Brown / Georgie Fame / Vince Eager / Johnny Gentle / Jess Conrad / Marty Wilde and Adam Faith. The tour ended on Saturday April 16th after a week long residency at The Bristol Hippodrome. Later that same evening Eddie Cochran died in a car accident on his way back to the airport to return to the USA.
