Three individual cards / pages, clearly signed in ink by Bing Crosby d1977 / Bob Hope d2003 and Dorothy Lamour d1996
Double mounted for fine display with original sheet music to "Its Always You" from the 1941 film Road To Zanzibar
| Certification: | Road to is a series of seven comedy films of the 1940-1960s starring these three actors. They are also often referred to as the "Road" pictures or series. The movies were a combination of adventure, comedy, romance and music. The minimal plot often took a back seat to gags, seemingly improvised but overwhelmingly scripted. Bob Hope & Dorothy Lamour from the wonderful collection of music / entertainment & pioneer autographs of John S of Newport who amassed a huge celebrity autograph archive during the 1980-90s. These were all collected by him in-person / at concert & theatre venues / through the post and via artist management during this 20 year period. There is a general covering letter and a copy of a newspaper article included which detail more about him. Bing Crosby obtained in the mid 1970s at the Old Course Hotel St Andrews Golf Club.
