BJORN BORG. Swedish tennis player considered to be one of the greatest of all time. Between 1974-1981, he won 11 Grand Slam singles titles (including five consecutive Wimbledons) and six French Opens. During his relatively brief professional career, he won 41% of the Grand Slam singles tournaments he entered (11 of 27) and 89.81% (141–16) of the Grand Slam singles matches he played. At Wimbledon his match win/loss was 92.73% (51-4). Most notably his winning percentage rate across all the surfaces over his entire career was 82.72%. The first "rock star" of professional tennis and the first player to earn more than one million dollars in prize money in a single season (1979)
