An original (circa 1960-70s) Blue Peter postcard, clearly signed in ballpoints / marker by Peter Purves / Valerie Singleton and John Noakes d2017.
These three remain the most recognisable Blue Peter presenters from the Golden Age of the programme. John Noakes is the shows longest running presenter of all (doing 12.5 years between December 1965-June 1978). He was known for his affinity with dogs Patch d1971 and later Shep and his famous catchphrase "Get Down Shep". Valerie Singleton appeared between 1962-1972 and Peter Purves 1967-1978.
