BOBBY VEE d2016. American singer remembered for his string of hits during the 1960s including ; Take Good Care of My Baby / Rubber Ball and Night of a Thousand Eyes. His career begun in February 1959 amid the tragedy of the death of Buddy Holly when he filled in for the missing acts on the rest of the tour. He continued performing live until 2011 when diagnosed with an early stage of Alzheimers disease. In 2011, friends and family contributed to his final new recordings which were eventually released as The Adobe Sessions on February 3rd 2014. On October 24th 2016, Bobby Vee died at the age of 73.
