Burt Reynolds

BURT REYNOLDS d2018. American actor, director and producer. He starred in many television series and feature films including ; Deliverance (1972) / The Longest Yard (1974) / Smokey and The Bandit (1977 / 80 / 83) / The Cannonball Run (1981 & 1984) / Sharky's Machine (1981) / Stroker Ace (1983) / City Heat (1984) and Boogie Nights (1997). He also won two Golden Globe Awards for Evening Shade and Boogie Nights. While filming City Heat, he was struck in the face with a metal chair, which broke his jaw. He lost thirty pounds as a result of having to restrict his eating and the painkillers prescribed led to an addiction which took several years for him to break. He underwent back surgery in May 2009 and a quintuple heart bypass operation in February 2010. He died of a heart attack in Florida aged 82 on September 6th 2018
