David Jason

SIR DAVID JASON OBE. English actor best known for his character Del-Boy Trotter in the classic BBC TV comedy series Only Fools and Horses (running until 2003). Other notable high profile televison roles include playing Detective Inspector Jack Frost in the ITV crime drama A Touch of Frost (running between1992-2010) / as Pop Larkin in The Darling Buds of May and as Granville in the comedy classic Open all Hours with Ronnie Barker. He was made an OBE in 1993 and knighted in 2005 both for services to drama. He has won four BAFTAs (1988 / 1991 / 1997 / 2003) /// four BCAs (1990 / 1992 / 1997 / 2001) and six NTAs (1997 / 2001 / 2002 twice / 2003 / 2011). In 2006, he topped the poll to find TVs 50 greatest stars as part of ITVs 50th anniversary celebrations.
