EDNA FERBER d1968. American novelist, short story writer and playwright. Her novels include the Pulitzer Prize-winning ; So Big (1924) / Show Boat (1926) / Cimarron (1930) / Giant (1952) and Ice Palace (1958). She died in New York aged 82 on April 16th 1968
