A superb original 1975 Rising For The Moon LP sleeve, clearly signed on the back cover in white ink by all seven group members of the period ; Dave Swarbrick / Dave Mattacks / Jerry Donahue / Trevor Lucas d1989 / Dave Pegg / Bruce Rowland and Sandy Denny d1978. 

Rising For The Moon was released in June 1975 reaching No52 in the UK album charts. It was the last Fairport album to feature Sandy Denny. SANDY DENNY d1978. English singer-songwriter described as "the pre-eminent British folk-rock singer". After briefly working with The Strawbs, she joined Fairport Convention in 1968 and remained with them until the end of 1969 (when she formed the short-lived band Fotheringay in 1970). She then focused on her solo-career between 1971-1977 releasing four albums. She became noted as the only guest vocalist on a Led Zeppelin studio album, when she shared a duet with Robert Plant on Led Zeppelin IV on The Battle For Evermore. A heavy drinker, smoker and drug user ; she died on 21st April 1978 (aged just 31) of a brain heamorrhage following a staircase fall whilst she was on holiday in Cornwall a month earlier. Trevor Lucas later died of a heart attack in Sydney aged just 45 in 1989.
