Four Minute Mile
FOUR MINUTE MILE. Once a feat that was thought to be impossible during the war years. However on May 6th 1954 at Oxford UK a British team of athletes led by Roger Bannister achieved this landmark achievement. Roger Bannister d2018 became the first man to break the four minute mile using Christopher Chataway d2014 and Chris Brasher d2003 as pacemakers.
