THE HEROES OF TELEMARK. 1965 British war film distributed by Rank & Columbia Pictures directed by Anthony Mann. It was based on the true story of the Norwegian heavy water sabotage during World War II from "Skis Against the Atom," the memoirs of the resistance soldier Knut Haukelid. The film starred Kirk Douglas (Dr Rolf Pedersen) and Richard Harris (Knut Straud). It was filmed on location in Norway.
