John Barry

JOHN BARRY d2011. English film score composer best known for composing eleven James Bond soundtracks. He was hugely influential in the 007 series' distinctive musical style, along with the groups guitarist Vic Flick (famous for playing the iconic guitar riff to the Bond theme). Alan Bown took over from John Barry as leader of the touring band in 1964, but then left in May 1965 with three other JB7 members to form the Alan Bown set.
