This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. Letter date is February 24th 1967. Leonard Rossiter

LEONARD ROSSITER d1984. English TV comedy actor best known for his outstanding roles as Rupert Rigsby in "Rising Damp" (1974-1978) and as Reggie Perrin in "The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin" (1976-1979) ; both series still providing often used quotations in British folklore. He also enjoyed a long distinguished career in the theatre and gained some notoriety for a series of Cinzano commercials (1978–1983) with actress Joan Collins. His sudden death aged just 57 in 1984 from an undetectable cardiomyopathy was a complete shock as he had always kept himself extremely fit.
