Certification:

Collectors date notation Brighton May 15th 1985. One of an absolutely outstanding mostly in-person autograph collection of over 500 items obtained by JD in Brighton & London during the late 1970's to 1990s. The majority being pop music acts of the period, along with actors and entertainers. The autographs are on records / fanzine magazine photographs and autograph book pages. Many are dedicated along with messages to the collector (Jonathan) and include dates & venues where they were obtained. There is a copy of a letter from him included (if required) that details his almost obsessive collecting exploits and memories of the time. Lloyd Cole & The Commotions

LLOYD COLE AND THE COMMOTIONS. Scottish pop-group formed in Glasgow in 1982. Between 1984-1989, the band scored four Top 20 albums with best known singles including "Perfect Skin" / "Brand New Friend" and "Lost Weekend". After breaking up in 1989, Cole embarked on a solo career. The band reformed briefly in 2004 to perform a 20th anniversary mini-tour of the UK.

From the superb 1983-87 autograph book of Marina Imperato of Sheffield containing many notable pop music acts of the period. The majority collected at The Sheffield City Hall with annotated concert dates shown. Some signatures also dedicated to her.The group played Sheffield in December 1985 so this is the likely actual signing date. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA.
