MITCH MITCHELL d2008. English drummer of The Jimi Hendrix Experience considered to be one of the greatest rock drummers of the late 1960s with his pioneering fusion style. He suffered with poor health in his latter years mainly due to alcohol related issues. He died aged 61 on 12th November 2008.
