An original Royalty Contract (dated November 29th 1922) for "Its Not What You've Done, Its What I've Done To You" for two cents, clearly signed in ink at the conclusion by ; Philip Napoleon d1990 (trumpet) / Frank Signorelli d1975 (piano) and J Edgar Dowell (composer) AND two other signatories
The additional attached ryder page is alo initialled by Napoleon and Signorelli
| Certification: | From the substantial and wonderful music / jazz autograph collection of David Ives numbering several hundred items, mostly obtained by him during the 1950-80s. He was a frequent concert-goer and well-known writer / contributor for The Jazz Journal from the 1950s, corresponding regularily with some of the best known artists of the period. Many of the notes and autographs are dedicated to him. Includes a recent typed letter from a family member, further detailing the known history of his collecting.
