Certification:From the substantial and wonderful music / jazz autograph collection of David Ives numbering several hundred items, mostly obtained by him during the 1950-80s. He was a frequent concert-goer and well-known writer / contributor for The Jazz Journal from the 1950s, corresponding regularily with some of the best known artists of the period. Many of the notes and autographs are dedicated to him. Includes a recent typed letter from a family member, further detailing the known history of his collecting.
