ON THE REVERSE OF THIS PAGE ; JO SIFFERT d1971. Swiss F1 driver between 1962-1971 with Lotus / Brabham / Rob Walker / March and BRM. 100 races with six podiums and two wins (British GP 1968 and Austrian GP 1971). He was tragically killed at Brands Hatch aged 35 on October 24th 1971 in a non-championship race due to suspension failure. The sad nature of his accident resulted in and accelerated a rapid overhaul of all fire safety at UK race circuits
