Rich Kids

RICH KIDS. New-wave band from London active between 1977-79 founded by Glen Matlock following his departure from The Sex Pistols. They released three singles in the UK in 1978 but only scored one No24 hit with their debut Rich Kids. The band also included Slik and future Ultravox frontman Midge Ure and Rusty Egan who later went onto found Visage. Group member Steve New died from cancer aged 50 in 2010.
