Description
A rare original 1970s autograph book page, clearly signed in ink by Richard Beckinsale.
The page is signed on the reverse by Del Shannon, singer-songwiter & guitarist who enjoyed considerable success in the early 1960s with many hits (including the worldwide No1 "Runaway") in the spring of 1961. He recovered from alcoholism in the late 1970s in order to resurrect his career. Sadly when suffering from depression (for which he was taking Prozac) ; Del Shannon committed suicide aged 55 on February 8th 1990, killing himself with a .22-caliber rifle at his home in California.
