Robert Lamouret

ROBERT LAMOURET d1959. French actor, puppeteer and ventriloquist. His best known stage act consisted of a talking duck-puppet dressed in a sailors outfit. He was also seen the motion pictures ; "Make Mine Laugh" (1949) and "Helter Skelter" (1949). On television he appeared as a guest on "The Mickey Mouse Club" in one of their Anything Can Happen Day Segments and numerous times on "The Ed Sullivan Show" between 1954 and 1955. He died aged just 47 in Fort Lauderdale Florida on March 17th 1959
