SLADE. English glam-rock band from Wolverhampton who were the UK's biggest selling singles group of the entire 1970s. They scored seventeen consecutive Top 20 hits (including six No1s) ; "Coz I Luv You" / "Take Me Bak Ome" / "Mama We're All Crazy Now" / "Cum On Feel The Noize" / "Skweeze Me Pleeze Me" and the classic 1973 Christmas single "Merry Xmas Everybody". Lead singer Noddy Holder left the group in 1991, later followed by Jim Lea. The two remaining original members Dave Hill and Don Powell continue to tour to the present day .......
