Stanley Baldwin

STANLEY BALDWIN d1947. British statesman of the Conservative Party who dominated the government in his country between the two World Wars. Three times Prime Minister (1923-4 / 1924-9 / 1935-7), he is the only British premier to have served under three monarchs (George V / Edward VIII and George VI). He died in Worcestershire aged 80 on December 14th 1947
