Willie & The Poor Boys

WILLIE AND THE POOR BOYS. British charity-related super-group. In 1984 Bill Wyman (The Rolling Stones) put together a group of well known musician-friends to record a charity album to help the Ronnie Lane Appeal for ARMS. He called the band Willie and The Poor Boys and with Bill himself doubling up as producer and bassist the fantastic lineup on the album included ; Jimmy Page / Paul Rodgers / Charlie Watts / Kenney Jones / Henry Spinetti / Terry Williams / Chris Rea / Ray Cooper / Andy Fairweather-Lowe and Mickey Gee.
