A wonderful orginal vintage 1972 (Ziggy Stardust) autograph book page, clearly signed and dedicated (For Rhona my love & Thanx) in blue ink by David Bowie
| Certification: | From the autograph book of Rhona Fleming (who worked on board the QE2) containing many notables of the 1970-80s. There is a collectors date notation of September 1972. David Bowie travelled on the QE2 from Southampton on September 10th 1972 (arriving in New York on September 17th) for his debut and first visit to the US during the legendary Ziggy Stardust tour. Ziggy Stardust was released in June 1972. Following this tickets for Bowie’s UK tour started to sell in larger numbers resulting in larger venues being booked and becoming sold out during the Summer of 1972. During September 1972 the tour went to the USA for 26 dates, returning to the UK for a few concerts running from late December to early January 1973.
