BORN FREE. 1966 film based on the true life book by Joy Adamson chronicling her life in Kenya on a game reserve with orphaned lions. In particular the moving story of  her returning to the wild her favorite cub "Elsa". The film spawned 1970s sequels Living Free and Forever Free and publicised the now worldwide "Born Free Foundation". The stars of the film Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna both later became prolofic wildlife campaigners

From a fantastic collection of visitors books dated between the mid 1960s to the mid 1980s, containing literally hundreds of celebrity signatures. The visitors books were collected by the staff and employees of Barclays Bank at Heathrow Airport during this period ; we assume this branch must have been located in or close to the VIP lounge. The autographs are almost all dated, many include the addresses of the signers and collectors notations / stamps by the original (bank employee) obtainers. There are also references to the bank and quality of service by some of the signers. By the very nature of the books the signatures really authenticate themselves and provide a fascinating insight and mix of famous British and American names of the period. High profile signers include ; Muhammad Ali / Robert De Niro / Jack Nicholson / Sid Vicious / Marlon Brando / Mick Jagger / Keith Moon / Sylvester Stallone / Roy Orbison / Thin Lizzy / Graham Hill etc etc. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK
