Jack Hawkins

JACK HAWKINS d1973. English film actor of the 1950-60s remembered for a number of roles in epic movies including ; Ben Hur (1959) / Bridge on River Kwai (1957) / Lawrence of Arabia (1962) / Zulu (1964) and Oh What a Lovely War (1969). A 60 per day chain smoker, he died of throat cancer aged 62 on 18th July 1973.
