PETER COOK d1995 & DUDLEY MOORE d2002. PETER COOK. Influential English satirist writer and comedian regarded as one of the leading lights of the satirical boom of the 1960s. He established The Establishment Club in 1961 and was a major financiar and contributor to Private Eye magazine. His TV / Film credits include ; Beyond The Fringe / Not Only But Also / Goodbye Again / The Wrong Box and Bedazzled in 1967. Alcoholism blighted his later career and he died aged 57 on January 9th 1995. DUDLEY MOORE. English actor, comedian, composer and musician. He first came to prominence as one of the four writer-performers in Beyond The Fringe during  the early 1960s and became famous as half of the popular television double-act he formed with Peter Cook. His fame as a comedic actor was later heightened by his success in Hollywood movies, such as "10" with Bo Derek and "Arthur" in the late 1970s and early 1980s, respectively. He was often known as "Cuddly Dudley" or "The Sex Thimble", a reference to his short stature and reputation as a "ladies' man". He died in New Jersey aged 66 on March 27th 2002
